Before enrolling at Dowen College in Lekki, she finished primary school in Lagos. She then moved to Johannesburg and enrolled in an Economics program at a South African institution. Tems was raised in a humble home and discovered her singing talent after signing up for a local chorus.
She started out as a talented musician when she was young. She recorded songs with the school chorus while improving her skills on her brother’s guitar.
