Sam Bankman-Fried is an American businessman, investor, and previous billionaire. He is also referred to by his initials, SBF, and was born on March 6, 1992. The CEO and founder of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX are Bankman-Fried. FTX.US and the bitcoin trading firm Alameda Research. Late in 2022, FTX experienced a glitch that reduced the value of its native currency, FTT. Bankman-Fried resigned as CEO of FTX during the crisis and declared he would quit leading Alameda Research; FTX later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Bankman-Fried had its top value at $26 billion.
