Pastor John Anosike Biography
Pastor Jonah O. Anosike was a man of god with the ability to prophesy, a fervent prayer warrior, a well-known deliverance minister, and a remarkable healing unction. He was given the name of the Region, which is in charge of overseeing the entire Christ Apostolic Church in Europe. In addition, he was a superb preacher of holiness.
He was born in Ibeku, a town that is now a part of Abia State and is a part of Umuahia Ndume. He had finished Standard Three of his education, which was considered to be a high degree of education by the standards of his time. He was a competent polyglot, speaking four of the most widely spoken languages. His native tongue, Igbo, as well as Yoruba, Hausa, and English were all spoken by him with ease.
He became a congregation member of the Christ Apostolic Church in 1946. Pastor John Anosike was ordained as a pastor in 1959 and was with registration number 115. He was married to an Igbo woman who had been born by a Prophetess who doubled as a midwife after he had spent a significant amount of time living in the North. During the time, his mother-in-law, who was also a Prophetess, lived in the Northern region. One day in 1956, the mother-in-law had a vision in which she was told to go plant CAC in the Igbo region of her native Nigeria. She left the North and relocated to Owerri.
Because Pastor John Anosike had married the family’s only daughter, they made the decision to relocate to Owerri together. They organized the first CAC colony assembly in Owerri. They moved to Wetheral Road after vacating the former location. At Owerri, they founded a large number of other CAC communities.
When some time had passed, Pastor John Anosike rose to the position of leadership in the church’s internal movement calling for the creation of Owerri as a district administrative division. Owerri was ultimately classified as Section 1 in the end.
Pastor Anosike has been promoted to District Superintendent. He first spent some time at CAC Wetheral Road as a District Superintendent before being eventually elevated and sent to Enugu. The DCC now has its headquarters in the Wetheral Road Church.
He now holds the position of Associate General Superintendent after receiving yet another promotion. Also, he moved to Enugu to assume the role of Chairman of Section E. He was one of those who remained steadfast when a particular Pastor Godwin split out from CAC and took the Church branches to create Christ Ascension Church because of his intense devotion to the leaders of the church in Ibadan. He was a devout member of the Ibadan church.
Pastor John Anosike retired in October 1992, but he kept up his ministry till the day he passed away in 2004.
