Odumodu Blvck Early Life
Odumodublvck was born and brought up in Lagos State. At the age of 17, he moved to Abuja with his family. He completed his junior high education at Christ the King College in Gbagada, where he also acquired the stage nickname “Odumodu” in his second year of high school. He received a B.Sc. in Mass Communications from the University of Lagos, where he completed his undergraduate studies.

Odumodublvck and B.O.C Madaki collaborated on the studio album ‘The Drop’ in 2022. A few months later, he released the follow-up song “Picanto,” which featured ECko Miles and Zlatan. The song debuted on November 21, 2022, at number 8 on the TurnTable Bubbling Under Top 100 and number 15 on the Nigeria Hip-Hop/Rap Tracks chart. “Picanto” made its debut on November 28, 2022, at position 79 on the Top 100, position 44 on Nigeria Radio, and position 6 on the Nigeria Hip-Hop/Rap Singles chart.
With DRB LasGidi and Vict0ny, Odumodublvck performed at the Jameson Connects concert on March 26, 2022, in Abuja. He won the Next Rated Artist category at the Galaxy Music Awards on December 8, 2022. The rapper received a brand-new Lexus IS 350 as part of the award’s prize package. He was added to the list of opening artists for the Vertical Rave concert, which took place on December 17, 2022, along with Teezee, Cruel Santino, PsychoYP, and Odunsi The Engine, among others, on December 9, 2022.
He signed a record deal with NATIVE Records in 2022, which was done in collaboration with Def Jam Recordings. His debut single under the NATIVE label, “Picanto,” featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan, was released on November 23, 2022. It peaked at number 65 and gave him his first chart entry on the Nigeria TurnTable Top 100. He came up at number four on TurnTable’s list of the top NXT Emerging Artists on January 23, 2023.
